01 / About me
Curiosity is
the common thread.
Technology, writing and photography: three passions that come together here.
I’m Cesare Scalise, a software developer and techno spy thriller author.
I have worked in software development for over twenty-five years. A love of reading has stayed with me throughout that journey, eventually inspiring me to write a story of my own. That became Progetto Nemesis, my first novel, also available in English as Project Nemesis.
My experience in technology shapes my fiction. I’m interested in what happens when the systems we rely on every day become a threat: the point where technology, espionage and action meet. The challenge is to turn technical details into a story that draws in readers who have never worked in IT.
Beyond work and books, there is travel and photography. My galleries collect places, moments and details from my travels, while the blog follows my writing journey and my thoughts on technology.
This website brings those parts of my life together. Explore the novel, browse the articles or start with the photographs: the choice is yours.
